Plug-in Updates Released for FileMaker 16

Release notes

• Fixed a possible crash after using the 'Install Plugin File' script step on 2empowerFM plug-ins on macOS.
• Warning about running 2empowerFM plug-ins when the system language is not supported can now be permanently disabled with a checkbox. Some of our plug-ins, like SQL Runner and Text Toolkit, can be run with no significant problems when the system language is unknown.
• Numerous errors fixed in Windows FileMaker 16 that were all caused by the removal of the main window that used to surround all database windows.
• Developer Assistant v3.2 Beta:
  • Fixed numerous incompatibilities with FileMaker 16.
  • In FileMaker 16, FileMaker fixed a long-standing bug in their plug-in API such that DA's 'Evaluate' button no longer has the random possibility of evaluating 'Field' as if it were 'Field[x]' where x is a random repetition number. DA works around this bug in FM 15 and earlier when evaluating 'Table::Field' but not when evaluating just 'Field'.
  • Fixed a number of rare script step mistranslations in FM 15 and earlier.
  • Non-script-workspace windows with names that start with "Script Workspace" (such as "Script Workspace Preferences") are no longer detected as script workspace.
  • MacOS:
    • Fixed DA search options sometimes failing to change to reflect Manage Database window being opened using Cmd-Shift-D.
    • Fixed searching the wrong script step in FM 15 and later if you searched while editing inline script step text in steps like comment, If, Else If, and Exit Script.
    • Keyboard shortcuts now work on a script step highlighted by a DA search in FM 14 and later without clicking the step.
  • Windows:
    • Fixed Toolbox becoming unclickable if Toolbox is focused before pressing Ctrl-Shift-D to open Manage Database window.
    • Ctrl-X keyboard shortcut now clears Find and Replace fields after copying their contents.
  • This is a free update for licenses purchased Feb 9, 2016 and later.
• Hands-Free Printer v3.64:
• Windows:
  • Fixed bug introduced in last version where it does not report an error if printer name specified does not exist.
• This is a free update for licenses purchased May 16, 2014 and later
• SQL Runner v2.66:
  • Added the ability to create named result sets such that epSQLResult(<row>; <column>; "<result set name>") can be used to iterate different sets of results in nested scripts or nested loops.
• Script Scheduler v2.29:
  • Added a timestamp parameter to epScriptQueue() to replace the 'runWhen' Named Parameter. The Named Parameter only accepted dates entered as "<mon>/<day>/<year> <hour>:<min>:<sec> <AM/PM>" but the dedicated timestamp parameter can be passed the output of the GetAsTimestamp() and Timestamp() FileMaker functions that work in all world regions. The timestamp parameter can also be passed a string formatted according to the date/time notation of the region where the database was created in.

  • Windows FM 16 fixes:
    • Pop up menus set to appear at a particular location now appear where expected.

• Keyboard and Mouse v2.41:
  • Windows FM 16 fixes:
    • Last mouse click location was corrected.
  • This is a free update for licenses purchased April 19, 2011 and later.
• Dialog Master v2.53:
  • Windows FM 16 fixes:
    • Dialogs set to appear at a particular location now appear where expected.
